Good app

Inexpensive and practical source on drugs.

Pocket pharmacist

This is a very comprehensive listing of medicines and they are constantly up dating.

Great App!

App is a fantastic quick reference tool. Providing quick concise information.

Pharmacist to pharmacist

Its an awesome handy extra reference!

Waste of Money!

Very incomplete. For those in medical, this app is useless.

Chiropractor

This app is very incomplete. It is missing a lot of the common drugs including contraceptives as well as common vitamins and minerals. I am a drugless practitioner, however searching some of these medications helps me determine if there are any possible side effects or interactions owing to there presenting complaint. I definitely expected something a bit more comprehensive.

Social Services

I work in Social Services and this program is excellent pocketnreference. Priced rigjt too. Thanks.

PocketPharmacist

This is a very handy reference with good, useful information on drugs. The system for recording drugs taken could stand improvement to make it more user friendly, for instance by enabling groups of pills taken at common times(breakfast, supper, bedtime, etc.) I am looking forward to future evolution of what has already made a great start.

Pocket Rx

I find it very handy to be able to see all of my medications in a convenient list. With my medical conditions, I am often asked to provide a current list of my medications. In addition, its very helpful to see the side effects and any conflicts in my medications so that I am better informed when speaking with my doctors.

5+ rating!

As a community health care provider, this app alone has made my investment in an iPad "worth it"! I have a "pill box" for each of my clients which is so easy not only set up but to maintain. It is my first line of red alert for possible drug interaction issues and in recognising side effects. I was prepared to give this app five stars before the update! Now it gets a 5+.

Lots of information

If your taking several different medications. If youre diabetic. If tracking and gaining more information is important then this app really covers the bases. Get it and use it.

RN

Very easy to use-can look up meds, interactions etc easily as I pass out my medications at work. Handy application to have on my iPhone

PocketPharmacist

My comments on the PocketPharmacist APP Three bucks to check that my doctor and pharmacist are aware of and keeping good track of interactions and side effects of my 11 prescriptions. They ARE! This info should not be place in the hands of the paranoid patient. LOL I also use another APP called RxMindMe to keep track of meds on hand and remind me to take my meds. I would recommend RxMindMe. I have found RxMindMe quite useful signaling when pills on hand get below a preset number. Also, a drum beat sounds to remind me to take my pills. There is only the note function to keep track of when no more refills are permitted and my doctor will not refill by FAX anymore (new government billing rules for the clinic: by the visit billing instead of my the patient!!!) RxMindMe is certainly more useful than the PocketPharmacist!!

App made easy

This app is one I use everyday. Whether your looking something up to verify something for a patient, or just for your own curiosity. I would be lost without it!!

Nurse

Very handy at work to look up new or unfamiliar meds

Pocket rx

Very helpful and useful, I use it everyday!

Practically useful

This app is wonderful, its got everything I need, categories, indications, precautions, side effects, dosages and a lot more. Even thec definition of diseases and conditions in which the drug is used. Valuable

Pocket Rx

Very helpful app, use it everyday. It would be nice if there was a Canadian version though.

RN

This is a very useful drug app I have. I recommend it to nurses.

Excellent app

This is a simple app. Excellent for understanding the medications you are taking.
